REC Textile Ducts in Arctic Falls Tire Testing Facility
Indoor Two is Arctic Falls’ latest indoor tire testing facility. The new hall will conduct tire testing year-round.
Indoor Two consists of two separate test facilities with a total area of 7,600 m², with 1,800 m² of ice and 4,000 m² of snow and a ceiling height of 4 meters. The facility is designed to meet the highest requirements for tire testers in controlled indoor environments.
To create an optimal climate for the new test facility, we have delivered a total of 600 m of our REC Textile Duct Injekt. This solution ensures that the air is distributed efficiently and according to the requirements.
Scandinavium
Arena for approx. 12,000 – 14,000 people depending on the event. Airflow at full load approx. 400,000 m3/m, normal operation approx. 280,000 m3/h.
A major advantage of the textile ducts was that the roof structure could be relieved. When changing from sheet metal ducts to textile units, the weight could be reduced from approx. 20 tons to 2.8 tons, despite a simultaneous flow increase of approx. 40%.
The other major advantage is that the cold draft has been eliminated in the seating area in the stands.
