REC delivers a complete textile duct system with ducts and diffusers for air distribution. Textile ducts with dense fabric are used for air distribution up to the diffusers. For the textile diffusers, either a dense fabric or a permeable (air-permeable) fabric is used, which is perforated with laser-cut holes of various sizes: B = MICRO, and C and D = INJEKT. The permeable fabric is sometimes used without hole perforation, allowing all air to “seep out” through the fabric.
The distribution ducts can be equipped with bends, reducers, branches, etc., just like sheet metal duct systems. It is important to choose the right type of diffuser to achieve the correct throw length while ensuring a draft-free environment in the occupied zone, depending on the room height.
When supplying under- or overheated air, the situation becomes more complex. For this, we have an excellent software program that can simulate these scenarios.
