IRIS

IRIS is designed for regulating airflow in circular ventilation ducts. It is ideal for installations in ducts that require cleaning, as it can be fully opened (up to size 630 mm.

Design
The regulation function is built into an external collar, creating a smooth and centered restriction when the damper blades are inserted. The airflow remains stable and uniform, with low noise levels. IRIS is made of hot-dip galvanized steel and, due to its compact design, is easy to install. For corrosive environments, IRIS-S (sizes 100-800 mm) is available, made of acid-resistant stainless steel (AISI 316). The damper meets airtightness class C.

Adjustment
Each damper is individually calibrated, with a maximum measurement deviation of ±7%, even if placed close to a T-junction, duct size transition, or bend (see alternative installation methods). Using the fixed measurement nipples, the pressure differential can be read, and the airflow can be determined.
